Poroshenko calls on international partners to toughen sanctions against Russia
Poroshenko stated this in a video address posted by Presidential Press Secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko on Facebook.
"We call on international partners to toughen sanction pressure on the Kremlin not only over the aggression against Ukraine, but also over a hybrid war against the whole European and Euro-Atlantic community, political killings abroad and suppressing democracy in Russia itself," Poroshenko said.
He also said that the list of individuals who "planned, promoted, organized, campaigned or took part in an impertinent electoral process in Crimea" would be drawn up and then submitted so that to strengthen sanctions against the Russian authorities in Crimea.
Poroshenko also thanked international partners for the previously declared position on the non-recognition of the so-called Russian presidential elections in Crimea and added he expects that a report of the international mission will indicate the illegality of these elections in Crimea.
