UK to keep sanctions on Russia until Crimea’s return to Ukraine – embassy

The United Kingdom intends to keep sanctions on Russia until the return of Crimea to Ukraine.
The UK Embassy in Ukraine informed this on its Twitter page.
"Four years ago Russia began its illegal annexation of Crimea and has been forcing its influence on the population ever since. We must maintain Crimea-related sanctions until its return to Ukraine," the statement reads.
Previously, the British Embassy in Ukraine called on Russia to release the Ukrainian political prisoners.
