Ukraine needs to create an Anti-Corruption Court as soon as possible, and it should be completely independent.

EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said this at a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"An Anti-Corruption Court should be completely independent in accordance with the recommendations of the Venice Commission. This is very important for the country, for the business environment, investment climate, reforms in the energy sector and land reform. This will open up a high potential of Ukraine," Mogherini said.

According to her, non-governmental organizations play an important role in the fight against corruption, since it is impossible to overcome such a negative phenomenon without them.
