Ukrainian prime minister, Latvian president discuss prospects for UN peacekeeping mission in Donbas

In Riga, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman holds a meeting with President of the Republic of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis, during which the parties discuss a number of topical issues.

The head of the Ukrainian government wrote about this on Twitter.

"The second day of the visit to Latvia. We are conducting negotiations with President of the Republic of Latvia Raimonds Vejonis. The main topics include the strengthening of a political dialogue, the situation in eastern Ukraine, the prospects of a UN peacekeeping mission in Donbas," Groysman said.

As Ukrinform reported, the Ukrainian prime minister began the official visit to Riga on Thursday.
