The Justice Ministry will join the work on the development of the Anti-Corruption Court bill for second reading.

Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko wrote on Twitter: “The Justice Ministry is ready to join the work on developing the draft law on the Anti-Corruption Court for second reading”.

According to him, this important law must be approved so that the selection of judges can be launched.

“We will put forward very high qualification requirements to the judges of the Anti-Corruption Court, at the level of the Supreme Court judges. So I think that there are not many people wishing to participate in the competitive selection," Petrenko wrote.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada adopted at first reading the presidential bill "On the High Anti-Corruption Court" (No. 7440) on March 1.
