President Poroshenko: Ukraine to persistently seek deployment of peacekeeping mission in Donbas

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko states that Ukraine will persistently seek the deployment of a peacekeeping mission in Donbas under the terms acceptable to Kyiv.
He said this at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We consider the peaceful political and diplomatic way of restoring territorial integrity to be a priority. We will adhere to the Minsk agreements and persistently seek the deployment of the UN peacekeeping mission under the terms acceptable to Ukraine. The peacekeepers are an important component in restoration of sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of our state. I announced this initiative in February 2015, and, unfortunately, only now it gets more and more support from our partners," Poroshenko said.
