Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Dmytro Kuleba said this on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"A new action plan of the Council of Europe for Ukraine was adopted last week. The document proposes the support for reforms for next four years. It clearly states that the action plan is based on the fact that Ukraine has achieved "significant progress in reforms" over the past four years. That is, they acknowledge there is significant progress, specify the areas where it is observed and continue to support these reforms," Kuleba said.
In particular, according to him, the Council of Europe positively assesses the judicial reform, the decentralization reform and the establishment of the public broadcasting in Ukraine.
"The Council of Europe commends the judicial reform and will continue to support this project. The reform of decentralization is assessed very positively and is considered one of the model reforms, not only in Ukraine, but in Europe on the whole. [The Council of Europe] also praises the establishment of public broadcasting in Ukraine," the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe said.
