Poroshenko discusses with representatives of U.S. Congress further steps for de-occupation of Crimea

President Petro Poroshenko has discussed with the representatives of the United States Congress further steps to strengthen the international front for the sake of Crimea's de-occupation.

The meeting was held within the framework of the Munich Security Conference, the press service of the Head of State reported.

"Further steps have been coordinated to strengthen the international front for the de-occupation of the Ukrainian Crimea," the press service of the Head of State informed on the results of the meeting.

The parties also condemned an intention to hold the Russian presidential election in the territory of the annexed Crimea.

On February 16-17, the Ukrainian delegation led by President Petro Poroshenko is on a working visit to Germany, where it takes part in the 54th Munich Security Conference.
