Ukraine strengthens cooperation with South Korea in law enforcement – Avakov

Ukraine has started an active cooperation with South Korea in the law enforcement field.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said this during a meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Ukraine Lee Yang-goo, the press service of the Internal Ministry reported.

"We agreed with our South Korean partners on the exchange of students – criminologists and cooperation in the field of cyberpolicy and the exchange of operational data," Avakov said.

He also extends an invitation to the Minister of Internal Affairs and Security of South Korea to visit Ukraine.

The ambassador, in turn, stresses that South Korea is ready to expand its cooperation with Ukraine.

Earlier, Avakov said that Ukraine entered a final round of talks on mutual recognition of documents and visa-free regime with South Korea.
