U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Sullivan to visit Ukraine

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan will pay an official visit to Ukraine on February 21, according to a statement released by the U.S. Department of State.

As expected, Deputy Secretary Sullivan will hold a meeting with Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, and Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin.

“The Deputy Secretary will stress the importance of Ukraine expeditiously implementing credible economic and anti-corruption reforms and will underscore U.S. support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” reads the statement.

The meeting will be held in the scope of his trip to Europe on February 15-24. Deputy Secretary Sullivan will also visit Germany, Italy, Latvia, and Belgium.
