Parliament offered to appeal to international community due to illegal preparation for presidential election in occupied Crimea

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a draft resolution on the appeal of the Ukrainian Parliament to the international community in relation to the illegal preparation for the Russian presidential election in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine - Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

As reported, Russia annexed Crimea in early 2014. The international community did not recognize the annexation of the Ukrainian peninsula.
