EU-Ukraine Association: lawmakers and officials to elaborate relevant bills

Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman have agreed on the creation of a joint working group to draft the bills aimed at implementing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.

Parubiy announced this at the closing ceremony of the seventh session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We have already agreed with the Prime Minister on the creation of a joint working group, so that we could put the package of bills on the agenda and approve them stage by stage at the plenary session," the speaker said.

According to him, the adoption of the draft laws necessary to implement the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement is one of the priorities of the parliament for the next session.
