Ukraine's special envoy discusses Transdniestrian settlement in Chisinau

Ukraine's Special Envoy for Transdniestrian Settlement, Ambassador Viktor Kryzhanovsky, has met with newly appointed Moldovan Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration Tudor Ulianovschi in Chisinau.

According to the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed priority areas of activity for 2018, an Ukrinform correspondent in Moldova reports.

Kryzhanovsky and Ulianovschi welcomed Franco Frattini's appointment as special representative of the OSCE chairperson-in-office for Transdniestrian settlement, expressing hope that the Italian OSCE Chairmanship will contribute to maintaining the current positive dynamics in the area of the Transdniestrian conflict settlement.

Kryzhanovsky also discussed Transdniestrian settlement in detail with State Secretary of the Moldovan Foreign Ministry Tatiana Molcean.

This was the first working visit by Ukraine's special representative for Transdniestrian settlement to Chisinau this year.
