President Poroshenko: Law on reintegration is a signal for Donbas and Crimea

The key signal of the law on reintegration adopted by the Parliament on Thursday is determination of the political and legal way of regaining the temporarily occupied Ukrainian lands.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote on Facebook: "We will continue to pave the way for the reintegration of the occupied Ukrainian lands by political and diplomatic means. This is the key signal of the relevant law, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada at my initiative. This is a signal for Donbas and Crimea: you are an integral part Ukraine."

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law No. 7163 on the peculiarities of the state policy on ensuring Ukraine's state sovereignty over temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, recognizing Russia as the aggressor state, which temporarily occupies a part of the territory of Ukraine. The adoption of the law was supported by 280 Ukrainian lawmakers.
