Croatia supports initiative to extend sanctions against Russia – PM Plenković

Croatia has always supported and will support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, and it continues to support the initiative to prolong sanctions against Russia.

Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković said this during a meeting Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak in Zagreb, the press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported.

“We support and we will support territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. We remain steadfast in this issue,” Mr Plenković said.

“We support the initiative to prolong sanctions against Russia and have a clear position on support of Ukraine in European and Euro-Atlantic striving. Ukraine and Croatia should develop military technical cooperation, as well as strengthen political diplomatic support of Ukraine. Moreover, we exchange experience on peaceful reintegration of territories,” the PM of Croatia said.
