"The main challenge for the government in 2018 will be the continuation of reform in the healthcare sector, where we have already adopted a large package of regulations, and education reform, in the scope of which the prime minister has initiated the modernization of primary schools so that children can receive better opportunities for education. In addition, we proposed that vocational education be reformed, as well as social security for teachers, including raising social standards," Sayenko said, the government’s press service reports.
He noted that the Cabinet of Ministers will continue to reform customs. "We want to equip our borders with equipment that can analyze goods in automatic mode. This is a large-scale initiative to combat smuggling," Sayenko said.
The minister also noted that one of the tasks of the Reform Office of the Cabinet of Ministers is to support the initiatives of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman in the scope of key reforms.
