Ambassador: Italy to seek solution to crisis in eastern Ukraine

Ambassador of Italy to Ukraine Davide La Cecilia promises to support the efforts to settle the situation in eastern Ukraine on the basis of the Minsk Agreements and in the Normandy format.
“Italy starts its Presidency of OSCE for 2018. Full political support to be given to the efforts to seek a solution to the Ukraine crisis, on the basis of the Minsk agreements and in the Normandy format,” the Italian ambassador posted on Twitter.
As reported, Italy assumed the presidency of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) from Austria on 1 January 2018 and promised to continue the efforts regarding the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
