British Embassy calls on Russia to release Ukrainian political prisoners

The British Embassy in Ukraine has urged Russia to release Ukrainian political prisoners and reminded that Crimea is the Ukrainian territory.

The embassy reported this on the Human Rights Day on Twitter.

"On #HumanRightsDay, the UK continues to call on #Russia to release all Ukrainian political prisoners immediately #CrimeaIsUkraine," the report reads.

As reported, the public association of the relatives of political prisoners of the Kremlin is currently monitoring the situation on illegal imprisonment of 46 Ukrainians in Russia and in the occupied Crimea.
