Foreign ministers of Ukraine, Finland discuss reform process in Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Finnish Foreign Minister Timo Soini discussed the state of the Ukrainian-Finnish political dialogue, in particular the issue of support for reforms in Ukraine.

The ministers talked on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Vienna on December 7, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

"The ministers discussed the current state of the Ukrainian-Finnish political dialogue, in particular cooperation in overcoming Russian aggression and supporting reforms in Ukraine," the report reads.

The sides also touched upon the issue of further cooperation within European and international organizations, including the issue of deployment of UN peacekeepers in Donbas.

Klimkin highly appreciated Finland's efforts to support the reform process in Ukraine and the progress recently made on this path.
