Klimkin discusses with Swedish counterpart deployment of UN peacekeepers in Donbas

"The parties discussed the issue of support by Sweden, which will remain a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2018, initiatives of our state, in particular, on the issue of deploying a UN peacekeeping mission throughout the occupied territory of Donbas, including a part of the Ukrainian-Russian border that is not controlled by Ukraine," the report reads.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors agreed on the need to use international sanctions against the Russian Federation until Russia stops occupation of Ukrainian territories, as well as the untimeliness of any initiatives aimed at restoring the voting rights of the Russian delegation at PACE until Russia implements all resolutions adopted in the course of 2014-2016 by the Assembly in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
