First Ukrainian president names four major tasks for Ukraine

First Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk believes that today Ukraine needs to resolve four important problems, namely the conflict in Donbas, corruption, poverty, and security.
He stated this during a public discussion entitled "December 1, 1991, the Ukrainian referendum: lessons of history for the future," an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We have four major problems in Ukraine. The first is to end the war, the second is to fight corruption, and the third is to fight poverty, since 60% of people live in a country below the poverty line. And the fourth issue is a security issue. We will resolve four issues, and then everything will change. We need to take the matter into our own hands and not allow what can become a large-scale conflict," Kravchuk said.
