Moldova appreciates cooperation with Ukraine in joint border control

The Moldovan Border Police highly appreciates the level of cooperation with Ukraine in the field of joint control at the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.
The press service of the agency informed this after a meeting of Head of the Border Police Fredolin Lecari with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Moldova Hnatyshyn, an Ukrinform correspondent reported from the Republic of Moldova.
"During the meeting, Fredolin Lecari stressed the "excellent stage" of cooperation with his colleagues from Ukraine," the report reads.
The parties discussed the implementation of bilateral and international agreements in the field of border control, focusing on the process of demarcation, as well as joint control and patrolling of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border.
