Ukraine, UAE agree on visa-free regime

Following the talks between President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, ruler of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a visa-free regime between the two states was agreed.

This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on the abolition of visa requirements.

An agreement on cooperation in the field of culture between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the United Arab Emirates was also signed.

The signing of the document will promote the development of cooperation between Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates in all spheres of culture and art, exchange of information on measures aimed at the protection and preservation of the national cultural heritage, as well as popularization of national cultures of Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates.

In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of space exploration was signed between the State Space Agency of Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates Space Agency.

The document provides for the development of mutual industrial, scientific and technical exchange in the field of space exploration.
