Adviser to Ukrainian Head of Government Serhiy Popyk said this after the talks, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The heads of government had a very intensive conversation. They discussed bilateral relations on the agenda, particularly the measures related to the Free Trade Agreement and cooperation in the field of aviation and space. Special attention was paid to the priority issues of the two countries in the context of Canada's upcoming G7presidency, which starts on January 1," Popyk said.
According to him, similar subjects were brought up during the other meetings of Ukrainian PM in Ottawa.
"During the talks and meetings in the parliament, the progress of reforms in Ukraine, bilateral cooperation, as well as the issues related to the assistance we receive from Canada to oppose Russian aggression in Donbas were discussed," the adviser added.
As reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman is currently on an official visit to Canada.
