Tillerson discusses situation in Ukraine with Russian ambassador - Department of State

Spokesperson for the United States Department of State Heather Nauert informed this in an official statement, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The parties discussed the need to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine and to fully implement the Minsk agreements," the document says.

In addition, the parties also discussed the defeat of ISIS in Syria and the United States’ continued commitment to the Geneva talks as the best way toward a political solution to the conflict. They also spoke about countering the threat posed by North Korea and the prospects for improving the bilateral relationship.
