President Poroshenko expects bill canceling deputy immunity to be approved during current VR session

President Petro Poroshenko has said he expects that the Constitutional Court will consider bill on the abolition of deputy immunity as soon as possible and the Verkhovna Rada will approve it in first reading during the current session. 

Poroshenko stated this in his speech during a meeting with the border guards of the tenth mobile border detachment of the State Border Service in the town of Bortnychi on Friday, October 20, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On behalf of the Ukrainian people, I urge the Constitutional Court to consider this issue as soon as possible, unblock the consideration of amendments to the Constitution, return it to Parliament and give an opportunity to vote in first reading during the current session," he stressed.
