Parliament passes bill on state financial guarantees for medical services

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has approved a draft law in its first reading on state financial guarantees for providing medical services and medicines, which is part of the healthcare reform package.
A total of 234 MPs voted in favor of the relevant decision, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Acting Health Minister Uliana Suprun noted that the bill envisages amendments to the Budget Code that are needed to implement the reform on financing the healthcare system.
