Healthcare reform allows raising doctor’s salary up to UAH 18,000 – Korchnynska

The bill on healthcare reform envisages a rise in doctor’s salary up to UAH 18,000 from 2020.
MP from the Radical Party faction, First Deputy Chairperson of the parliamentary committee for healthcare issues, Oksana Korchnynska, told this to journalists in a lobby of the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The medical service rate will include doctor’s salary, which will be increased by 2.5 times in line with the bill, this means that an average doctor’s salary will total UAH 18,000 as of January 1, 2020," the MP said.
