Parliament continues consideration of healthcare reform bill

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy says he hopes MPs today will manage to consider at least 600 amendments to the bill on healthcare reform.
He stated this in Parliament when announcing the consideration of bill No. 6327 on state financial guarantees for providing medical services and medicines, which is part of the country's healthcare medical reform package.
“I urge everyone to work actively and efficiently. We have to pass at least 600 amendments today. I hope for your understanding - both the authors of the amendments and the representatives of the relevant committee," Parubiy said.
As Ukrinform earlier reported, on October 17, Ukrainian MPs started the consideration of healthcare reform in the second reading, having considered 249 of the 893 amendments.
