Ukrainian World Congress condemns terrorist attacks in Somalia

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) condemns terrorist attacks in Mogadishu, Somalia, which claimed the lives of 300 people.

UWC President Eugene Czolij stated this, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The Ukrainian World Congress is appalled by these acts of terrorism targeting innocent civilians and expresses solidarity with the Somalian people in the wake of these tragedies," UWC President Eugene Czolij said.

On behalf of the 20-million strong Ukrainian diaspora, the UWC expresses sincere condolences to the families of the victims and prays for all of the victims of these acts of terrorism.

As reported, at least 300 people were confirmed dead after a double car bombing rocked Mogadishu on Saturday, making it the deadliest attack in Somalia's modern history.
