Klimkin very surprised to hear from Hungarian colleague the idea about revision of Association Agreement due to educational law
"I am very surprised by the statements made by the Hungarian foreign minister about the revision of the Association Agreement. I intend to discuss all issues in Budapest on October 12," Klimkin wrote on Twitter.
He adds that the revision of the Association Agreement is possible for our country in the context of ensuring a clear European perspective of Ukraine.
Klimkin also confirms his readiness for a dialogue with Hungary at all levels. "We will talk about everything, including the issuance of Hungarian passports to Ukrainian citizens and so on," the foreign minister said.
He also invited European partners to visit Zakarpattia and informed about the visit of foreign ambassadors to this region and face-to-face communication with its residents.
As reported, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has said at a meeting with Zakarpattia Regional Governor Hennadiy Moskal that the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU should be reviewed because of the law on education.
