Meeting of Trilateral Contact Group starts in Minsk

Darka Olifer, the spokesperson for Ukraine's representative in the group, former Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma, wrote this on Facebook on Wednesday.

"A meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group has begun in Minsk," she wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, a meeting of the working groups of the Trilateral Contact Group was held earlier on October 4.

According to the media, it is expected that during the meeting the parties will discuss the issues of implementation of previously reached agreements in the field of security, preparation for the exchange of prisoners, restoration of the infrastructure of the region, political settlement of the conflict.
