Foreign ministers of Ukraine, Macedonia discuss prospect for introducing visa-free regime

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has discussed with Foreign Minister of Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov further development of the political dialogue and prospects for introducing a visa-free regime between the countries.

The press service of the Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry reported this following the meeting, which took place at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

"The parties discussed the issues of further development of bilateral political dialogue, cooperation in the military, cultural and humanitarian fields and considered the prospects for introducing a visa-free regime between Ukraine and Macedonia," the statement reads.

As the Foreign Ministry press service reports, particular attention was paid to the developments in the Balkan region and the response to external threats.
