The Ukrainian side is now working on a list of 144 people held hostage in the occupied territories and the Russian Federation.

The representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group for the settlement of the situation in Donbas, Iryna Gerashchenko, said this to journalists during the 14th annual meeting of the Yalta European Strategy (YES), an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As of today, we are working on a list of 144 people. Unfortunately, the list has recently expanded," Gerashchenko said.

She explained that the list had expanded, in particular after the arrest of 19-year-old student Hryb in Belarus.

According to Gerashchenko, over the past few months, some progress has been made, in particular, the confirmation of those Ukrainians who are held in the occupied territories.
