“Ukraine has done much in the last two years to overcome the economic crisis,” he said at the 14th the Yalta European Strategy (YES) annual meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to him, the European Union was concerned about the "potential collapse of Ukraine in the economic sphere,” in particular, it concerned the instability of national currency. At the same time, at present the banking sector is reviving, and “economic growth is returning to Ukraine," Sefcovic said.
He also noted that relations between Ukraine and the European Commission have become much stronger over the past two years, and their potential is constantly growing.
