Poroshenko discusses with delegation of French senators situation in Donbas and Crimea

The parties discussed the situation in Donbas and Crimea. The Head of State expressed concern over the systemic violation of the Minsk agreements by Russia and its militants, particularly the ongoing provocations that undermine the implementation of the initiative on the establishment of the ceasefire regime on the occasion of the beginning of a new school year and obstruct the OSCE SMM activity.

Poroshenko expressed support for the intentions of the group of French senators to visit the ATO area and got themselves acquainted with the situation in Donbas caused by the ongoing Russian armed aggression.

The parties discussed the implementation of political and economic reforms in Ukraine.

Chairman of the French-Ukrainian Group of Friendship Herve Maurey praised the implementation of reforms in Ukraine in conditions of the Russian aggression.

The President expressed hope that France would further support the European integration of our country.
