The Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), Ambassador Martin Sajdik, told journalists, BelTA informs.
"After the summer break and the start of a new school year, I feel that the Trilateral Contact Group has decided to give a new impetus to our work in order to guarantee the population a quiet autumn. Our next meeting will be here on September 20," Martin Sajdik said.
According to the ambassador, the working group on economic issues discussed at the meeting the possible improvement of the payment mechanisms for water supplies to certain regions of Luhansk region. There was also talk about the need to protect a number of vital infrastructure facilities in the conflict zone.
In the humanitarian sphere, the discussion of the issue on exchange of the detained persons still continued.
