The reform of education will become a powerful impetus for other reforms implemented in Ukraine.
"Education is a key to the future of Ukraine. Adoption of a new version of the law on education gives us this key. Thanks to all who worked on the law, in particular at the National Council of Reforms, and the MPs who supported it," President Petro Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page.
He stressed that a new Ukrainian school opened its doors to a new generation of Ukrainians - competent, patriotic, open to the world.
"I am glad that we did it, because the education reform is a powerful impetus for other reforms that Ukraine is implementing today," the Head of State said.
As reported, the MPs on Tuesday passed the law on education.
