The law comes into effect on the day following the day of its publication.
Amendments to the 2017 national budget provide for the allocation of more than UAH 14 billion to finance subsidies, UAH 6.4 billion for defense, UAH 5.3 billion for healthcare. In addition, UAH 3.25 billion will be allocated for road construction and repairs, UAH 100 million for energy efficiency, UAH 100 million for miners.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on amendments to the 2017 national budget on July 13.
President Petro Poroshenko signed the law on August 1.
