Anti-corruption institutions of Ukraine, Romania agree on cooperation

The National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) will cooperate with the Anti-Corruption General Directorate (ACGD) of the Interior Ministry of Romania.

The corresponding protocol on cooperation in field of prevention of corruption was signed on Tuesday by NAPC chairwoman Natalia Korchak and ACGD deputy director general Constantin Preoteasa.

"Chairwoman of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption of Ukraine Natalia Korchak and Deputy Director General of the Anti-Corruption General Directorate of the Interior Ministry of Romania Constantin Preoteasa signed the protocol on cooperation in field of prevention of corruption," reads statement on NAPC’s Facebook page.

In accordance with the signed protocol, the parties agreed to consult and exchange information and experience in preventing corruption and promoting integrity in such areas as the assessment of corruption risks at the sectoral level, the development of measures to eliminate them and strengthen interdepartmental cooperation.
