Petro Tsyhykal appointed as chairman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine

The new chairman was introduced to the personnel of the Service in the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief, I signed the decree pursuant to the relevant recommendation for the appointment of Petro Tsyhykal as new Chairman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine," the President said.

Earlier, Petro Tsyhykal headed the operational department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

As reported, Head of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service Viktor Nazarenko submitted a letter of resignation because of a health reason.
