President Poroshenko signs law on Energy Efficiency Fund

The ceremony of signing was held in the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“The law on the Energy Efficiency Fund is a fund, the creation of which was absolutely understandable tens of years ago. But it is very important that now we are creating it, that it has been approved by all our international partners, financial organizations. And I’m confident that in the near future we will have practical results of our joint activities,” President Poroshenko said.

Also, the President signed the law on energy efficiency of buildings.

As earlier reported, the Verkhovna Rada on June 8 approved bill No. 5598 on the Energy Efficiency Fund. This law determines legal, economic and organizational principles for the formation and activities of the Energy Efficiency Fund.
