Ukrainian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission to meet in September

A meeting of the Ukrainian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation will take place in September of this year.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this to journalists after the launch of a common border and customs control at the Kuchurhan checkpoint on the Transdniestrian section of the Ukrainian-Moldovan state border together with Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Pavel Filip, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We had a broad agenda during the talks with the prime minister, including the holding of the next meeting of the Ukrainian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission, which is to be held in September of this year," Poroshenko said.

During the meeting, the issues of supplying Ukrainian electricity for the needs of Moldova were discussed.
