New Supreme Court to be formed in a few weeks - president

A new Supreme Court, deprived of corruption, will be formed in a few weeks, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"A new Supreme Court will be formed within two or three weeks - a court that will finally have confidence, a court that will be free of corruption, a court where every Ukrainian uses his right to justice," he said during a working visit to Ternopil on Friday.
The president expressed hope that after a respective vote in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine would see "a new, transparent, effective, professional and patriotic Supreme Court."
