EU acknowledges European aspirations and choice of Ukraine - Tusk

President of the European Council Donald Tusk has confirmed that the European Union acknowledges the European aspirations and welcomes its European choice.
He said this after the Ukraine-EU summit in Kyiv on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Tusk said that the most important part of the most important document was the Association Agreement and that these were not slogans. After all decisions were taken and after the association and free trade agreements were signed this is our new reality, he added.
"For me the key sentence of the Association Agreement still is that, and I quote, the European Union acknowledges the European aspirations of Ukraine and welcomes its European choice," Tusk said.
