President Poroshenko expressed gratitude for the consistent bipartisan support for Ukraine by the U.S. Congress in the issue of countering the ongoing Russian aggression and enhancement of Ukraine’s sustainability through the implementation of relevant reforms.
In this context, the parties discussed strengthening of Ukraine’s defense capacity, funding of security aid to our state by the U.S. budget and enhancement of investment and trade-economic cooperation.
Poroshenko informed on the situation in Donbas and ongoing violations of the ceasefire regime by the militants controlled by Russia.
