UWC calls on United States to continue sanctions against Russia

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) calls on the United States to continue pressure on Russia by applying additional sanctions against Moscow.
UWC President Eugene Czolij stated this, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian World Congress calls upon the United States to reaffirm its commitment to the territorial integrity of Ukraine and support for the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of the people of Ukraine by enacting the Countering Iran's Destabilizing Activities Act, which includes a sanctions regime against the Russian Federation,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
He also said that UWC welcomes the meeting on 20 June 2017 in Washington between President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and President of the United States Donald Trump, and the recent actions in support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
