President Poroshenko hands over to U.S. leadership the letters from Ukrainian captives’ relatives

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, in the scope of his official visit to the United States, handed over the U.S. leadership the letters from Ukrainian captives imprisoned in the Russian Federation and occupied territories of Ukraine.
“I handed over the letters from the relatives of the Ukrainian captives imprisoned in the occupied territories and Russia to the U.S. leadership,” President Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.
According to the president’s press service, President Poroshenko was assured that the U.S. Administration would make efforts to liberate Ukrainian captives.
