Speaker Parubiy: Acceleration of integration into NATO to be of great importance for Ukraine

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy has stated about the importance of accelerating Ukraine’s integration into NATO amid Russian military aggression in Donbas.
He said this at a press conference “US-UA Working Group Yearly Summit V: Providing Ukraine with an Annual Report Card” in the USA, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“During this period, international support is especially important for Ukraine. But in my opinion, the most topical in this international support is the acceleration of Ukraine's integration into the North Atlantic Alliance as the most effective global security system," he said
The speaker stressed that Russia is a global threat to the entire civilized world.
As reported, the Verkhovna Rada on June 8 passed the law on Ukraine’s course towards NATO.
Speaker Andriy Parubiy is on a working visit to the USA on June 12-16.
