Foreign Minister of Sweden Margot Wallström has urged Ukraine to improve legislation on electronic declaration.

She said this during a joint briefing with Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Electronic declarations have certain shortcomings, we hope that the law will eliminate them," Wallström said.

In addition, the diplomat drew attention to the need for Ukraine to ratify the Istanbul Convention on preventing and combating violence against women.

At the same time, she welcomed the establishment of the Supreme Court and the holding of a competition. "We hope that Ukraine will remain on the road to the European Union, on the road to prosperity, which is ensured by integration into the EU," Wallström stressed.
